
BIOGRAPHY
Baritone BENJAMIN HENRY-MORELAND is a fresh face to New England after relocating from his home state of Minnesota in November of 2011. After receiving his Bachelor’s of Music from St. Olaf College in 2007, he began his performing career in the Minneapolis/St. Paul area, performing solo and ensemble roles with the Minnesota Orchestra, Minnesota Opera, Skylark Opera, University of Minnesota Opera Theatre, and Dead Composers Society. He is also active in church music (Cathedral of Saint Paul, St. Paul’s On-The-Hill Episcopal) and early music (Consortium Carissimi, Minnesota Bach Society, The Mirandola Ensemble). He co-founded Dead Composers Society, a Twin-Cities-based chamber opera company, in 2008. Favorite roles include Guglielmo in Così fan tutte and Sam in Trouble in Tahiti.
